Carbon monoxide

Detect elevated levels of carbon monoxide to protect your employees. Carbon monoxide is called "the silent killer" because the gas is invisible and odorless. To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, it is important to regularly measure the construction site to ensure that no accidents occur. According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations, the limit for a safe working environment is 20 ppm, 25 mg/m3.

What is carbon monoxide?

Carbon monoxide is a chemical formula that is a compound of one carbon atom and one oxygen atom. It is a dangerous gas that has no smell and mixes easily in the air. It occurs when petrol or diesel is burned, so if you are in an environment that is not adequately ventilated, you are at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
