Dust

Measure dust at the construction site and receive notifications when and where dust particles are produced and act proactively to improve and secure the working environment for your employees. With this data, activities can be planned to minimize dust levels.

What is dust?

Dust is a term for very small solid airborne particles. Dust can have many different origins and consist of many different materials. For example, it can consist of minerals or pollutants. The dust that builds up when working with stone, concrete, various forms of construction waste or excavated material can easily get into the lungs of those who work near it. The dust is called silica dust and causes a risk of various chronic and/or life-threatening diseases. Quartz dust causes inflammations, COPD, silicosis or cancer. Some of these diseases do not appear until much later. Because the symptoms of these diseases appear so late, it is common for many people to continue working without respiratory protection or the correct type of respiratory protection.
