Brinja and Diab start a new collaboration at Diab's factory in Laholm. Diab is a leader in nuclear materials for various types of sandwich composite solutions. Today, Diab's high-performance nuclear materials are available in applications all over the world, in industries such as wind power, marine, aerospace and transportation.

In this collaboration, Diab has chosen to install Brinja's quality measurements in the factory in Laholm to ensure the quality of production and work environment for employees. The following metrics have been chosen: dust, humidity, temperature and movement. The metrics are continuously analyzed and provide unique knowledge to improve and drive development forward.

The collaboration will begin in April 2021 and will last for approximately 1 year.

"We at Diab always strive for the best conditions for our employees and the highest quality of our products. Brinja's innovative quality measurements give us even better conditions to develop and improve our product and production environment", says Anders Svensson, CEO of Diab AB in Laholm.

"Brinja has taken inspiration from smart home systems, but adapted robust products and services for the construction industry. Now we are breaking new ground in the heavier manufacturing industry where we have seen for some time that our products and services meet several needs. We are very much looking forward to our new collaboration to analyze the production environment so that Diab can make data-driven decisions and work proactively," says Xavier Leon, CEO of Brinja.

The goal is to secure production and the working environment

Through Brinja's quality measurements, Diab can ensure the quality of production and work proactively with the work environment for the employees in the factory. The measurements are made via Brinja's wireless device with built-in sensors. This provides flexible measurements exactly where Diab wants. The collection rate of measuring points can be varied as needed, from several times per minute to every 15 minutes. Diab can prevent damage or risk by receiving warnings via the Brinja App if the set thresholds are about to be exceeded. In this way, Diab can work proactively and focused where needed through Brinja's automated systems.
