Since November 2020, Brinja's units have been installed at NCC's project, Kineum in Gårda, Gothenburg. The units have created a safer workplace, collected data and helped to reduce CO2 emissions. The services used are:
In the meantime, test projects have also been carried out to connect fan heaters to automate control. The aim of the project is to achieve stable heating at around 20 degrees, optimising resources to reduce electricity consumption and, in the long run, reducing CO2 emissions.
A test evacuation of the entire building has been carried out with the participation of around 200 employees. The digital evacuation systems created an efficient and safe evacuation for everyone on site.
The sensors have been measuring every 15 minutes since the start of the project in Nov 2020. This is a large amount of data points that provide a basis for the drying out of the building. Alerts have also been sent when dust levels or noise exceeded set thresholds.
We are now in the final stages of this project (moving in autumn 2022) and have really enjoyed working with the team at Kineun. We look forward to continuing to work with those we have come to know, on future projects to digitise the construction industry!
