For almost 20 years, Karl-Magnus has had several heavy roles in the construction industry, with a focus on large complex contracts. Today, Karl-Magnus runs a consulting company called Projektdirektiv i Väst AB together with Janne Nilsson.

We at Brinja met "Kalle" for the first time in 2018 (or was it 2017?) on the Humanisten project that NCC was then building for Akademiska hus. Xavier had been in contact with the then work environment engineer at NCC who connected him with Karl-Magnus. Karl-Magnus was then project manager at NCC, he has always had a great focus on work environment issues and a curiosity about new technology / products that can support in that work.

-"Brinja is by far the best evacuation alarm for construction sites I have come across," says Karl-Magnus. In an industry that has the challenges we see in the work environment, it is a matter of course to have a modern evacuation alarm and train on evacuation situations. The sensor technology that is also offered is a huge plus, we often need to bring in that type of service anyway to show that we are within various limits, so the package solution that Brinja delivers is very flexible.

-I have been in contact with Brinja for a long time, and contributed with knowledge from the industry and customer perspective, so it feels natural to join the board and continue with that work there, I am very excited to be part of Brinja's journey forward!
